Chelsea’s youth production has arguably been the best in England over the years. While that does ring true for how many players they produce, but a lot of them go onto leave the club as well. Jeremie Boga is another such example of a player leaving Chelsea and then starring elsewhere. But it could be time for the Sassuolo man to return to Stamford Bridge soon according to a UK website that aggregates new casino sites 2020 around football.

It isn’t like this doesn’t have any base for it. Boga’s brother-agent Daniel has already said that the Blues are looking at him in the future, even though concrete offers haven’t been made yet.

He told GianlucadiMarzio via New Casino 2021: “In December I met with [Chelsea director] Marina Granovskaia. She’s following his season with great interest. There are no concrete offers, but there’s strong interest. Barcelona asked me for information. I spoke to others but many clubs want him. Napoli? Certainly, but many called from France and England. I’m very proud of this growth. For many it’s a surprise, but certainly not for me. His future is at a top club.”

Clearly, there is something in all this. Boga has improved over the years, having toured through France and the lower divisions of England. But it is at the neroverdi that Boga is finally coming of age.

In 24 appearances in all competitions, Boga has scored eight goals and has three assists to his name. Playing beside renowned forwards like Francesco Caputo and Domenico Berardi has certainly helped, but Boga has now racked up his highest goal contributions tally in a single season.

In Roberto de Zerbi’s quick and fluid system, Boga has thrived. He has been one of the most prolific dribblers in Serie A, having completed 4.4 dribbles per game while picking up one key pass per game too. The system allows him to get on the ball and use his trickery to maximum effect.

Taking 1.9 shots per game has also led to him being more prolific in front of goal. Conditions have been favourable for his growth and he hasn’t disappointed anyone. He has moulded into a better player, having come up with 28.3 passes per game with an accuracy of 86.1 percent. Those are the highest tallies of his career.

And Chelsea, who could hand him only a single Premier League appearance, should be keeping an eye on it. He has scored against Roma, Juventus and Inter- a proof that he can be a big-game player when in full swing.

Frank Lampard could be set to lose Pedro and Willian in the summer. The contracts of both the players are running out, with Hakim Ziyech coming in. Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi are already at the club and present the fresh youth policy that Lampard brings to the table.

The club’s fans have been calling out for a move for Jadon Sancho. But when Chelsea already have so many potential stars in the team, spending big money on Sancho will not make much sense. In that sense, bringing Boga back would add depth to the team and there would be little pressure to get him into the first-team right away.

Boga will add the pace which can pulverise the opposition on the counter-attack. Like the others in the side, he is young and will only grow into a better player. He certainly knows the club and if his brother is talking about Chelsea publicly, there could be some interest from Boga’s end too.

It would be the perfect reward for the 23-year-old, considering how he has finally improved after years of stagnation. No one can say that he doesn’t deserve a bigger move.
