Brighton defeated the hometown Newcastle 3-0 (2-0) on Sunday in Premier League action.
The visiting team Brighton started best and were already 0-1 up early in the game. After only 4 minutes Neal Maupay scored a goal.

Brighton found the net once more, this time through Aaron Connolly, who scored a goal, with an assist by Neal Maupay, in the 83rd minute, what brought the final score to 3-0.
Brighton’s Yves Bissouma was sent off in the 89th minute.
Newcastle will host Tottenham on Sunday. Brighton will face Man United on Saturday.
