Bruno Fernandes claimed a hat-trick at home against Leeds, as Manchester United won 5-1 (1-0) in the Premier League. Fred and Mason Greenwood scored the remaining goals for the home side, while Ayling scored for Leeds.

There was no real shape to the match until Manchester United took the lead just on the half-hour mark through Bruno Fernandes, who scored, with an assist by Paul Pogba, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Luke Ayling scored and equalised for Leeds.

In the 52nd minute, Mason Greenwood scored, with an assist by Paul Pogba, to give Manchester United the lead.

Just two minutes later, with an assist by Paul Pogba, it was Bruno Fernandes who scored one more time. This occasion he scored, thus ensuring that the team increased the lead to 3-1.

Manchester United increased the lead again, making it 4-1, six minutes later as Bruno Fernandes scored and with this completed his hattrick.

Fred also scored in the 68th minute as he scored, from a pass from Paul Pogba. The 5-1 goal was the last one of the game.

Next time Man United will play against Southampton on Sunday at St Mary’s Stadium. Leeds take on Everton at home on Saturday.
