Manchester City defeated the visiting Wolverhampton 3-1 (2-0) in the Premier League on Monday.
The visiting team Manchester City started the match well and took the lead early when Kevin De Bruyne scored a goal after 20 minutes, making it 1-0.
The team increased their lead to 0-2, when Phil Foden scored a goal, with an assist by Raheem Sterling, in the 32nd minute.
Raul Jimenez reduced the score for Wolverhampton, with an assist by Daniel Podence, in the 78th minute. However, Wolverhampton were unable to make more of an impression.
The 1-3 goal came in the 90th minute, when Gabriel Jesus scored a goal for Manchester City. The 3-1 goal was the last one of the game.
The teams play their next league games on Sunday. Wolverhampton will play West Ham at 7pm, while Man City take on Leicester at home at 4:30 pm.
