Leeds defeated the hometown Fulham 3-4 (1-2) on Saturday in Premier League action.

The hosting team Leeds started the match at pace and took the lead straight away early in the game. After only 5 minutes Helder Costa scored a goal.

Fulham equalised to make it 1-1, when Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a goal, in the 34th minute.

Leeds took the lead just before the half-time whistle as Mateusz Klich scored a goal.

Straight after the break, Patrick Bamford found the net and increased the team’s lead.

With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Leeds’s Helder Costa scored a goal and increased their lead.

Just five minutes later, it was Bobby Reid who scored a goal ensuring that Fulham reduced the score to 4-2. The 0-1 goal was the only one of the game.

Fulham pulled one back again in the 67th minute of the game as Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a goal. But the team ran out of steam. The 4-3 goal was the last goal of the game.

Leeds secured their first three points, while Fulham have two consecutive defeats after two rounds of fixtures.

In the next round, Leeds take on Sheffield Utd away on Sunday. Fulham play at home to Villa on Monday.
