The visiting team Netherlands started the match well and took the lead early when Memphis Depay scored a goal in the 24th minute, with an assist by Donyell Malen, making it 1-0.
Straight after the break, Georginio Wijnaldum scored and increased the team’s lead.
Netherlands increased the lead even more as Georginio Wijnaldum scored a goal in the 58th minute. This brought the final score to 3-0.
The result means that North Macedonia have secured the title.
The results in the last qualifying round mean that North Macedonia finish in fourth place and Netherlands in first. Netherlands has secured its spot in the playoffs.
