Everton beat West Bromwich Albion 5-2 (2-1) at home in the Premier League. But Dominic Calvert-Lewin stole all the post-match praise after scoring a hat-trick for Everton. Michael Keane and James Rodriguez scored the remaining goals for the home side, while West Bromwich Albion’s goals came through Diangana and Pereira.
West Bromwich Albion started the match well and took the lead when Grady Diangana scored a goal after 10 minutes, with an assist by Matheus Pereira, making it 1-0.
Everton equalised to make it 1-1 after more than half an hour’s play as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a goal.
West Bromwich Albion’s Kieran Gibbs was sent off in the 45th minute.
Straight after the break, James Rodriguez scored and gave the team the lead.
In the 47th minute, Matheus Pereira scored a goal, to equalise for West Bromwich Albion.
Just seven minutes later, it was Michael Keane who scored a goal ensuring that Everton took the lead. The 0-1 goal was the only one of the game.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a goal, from a pass from Richarlison, and increased their lead.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin also scored in the 66th minute as he scored a goal, from a pass from James Rodriguez. The 5-2 goal was the last one of the game and then completed a hatrick.
Everton have six points while West Bromwich Albion have zero, as both teams have played two games.
On Saturday, Everton will play away to Palace at 3pm, while West Brom will face Chelsea at home at 5:30 pm.
